Manuel Butze, Head of Fleet Management at Berlin Recycling, personally accepted the first MUT superstructure built for Berlin Recycling by Steyr Automotive in Steyr today, 29 October 2025.
The superstructure is a Mega MUT with an acid-resistant stainless steel floor and a newly developed lifter that can pick up and tip both containers in accordance with DIN EN 840 (240 l, 660 l, 1100 l) and large containers in accordance with DIN EN 12574-1 (2.5 m³ and 4.5 m³). This is a tipper that was manufactured precisely to the specific requirements of Berlin Recycling and is now available as the AU-P Mega Lifter in the MUT portfolio.
