On the occasion of the annual meeting of the “Friends of Italian Vehicles”, a charity event for Wigwam, which traditionally finds its starting point for rally and convoy at the Steyr Automotive factory parking areas, a cheque for a donation of 3,000 euros was handed over by Steyr Automotive to Wigwam Steyr on Saturday, 6 August 2022.

 

“As in previous years, we are very happy to support the initiative in favour of the Wigwam child protection centre in Steyr,” said Dr Birgit Pfefferl, Head of Corporate Communications at Steyr Automotive. “Our plant has had a living cooperation with Wigwam for many years. Since it is once again our employees who organise this charity event in their free time and on a voluntary basis, we wanted to show by handing over the donation on the same day as the Italian “Belle macchine” visit us that we are joining forces professionally and privately for the good cause.”
