Tier-1 supplier: Steyr Automotive audited according to VW regulations!

With the very successful completion of a 4-day process audit, Steyr Automotive has now qualified as a Tier 1 supplier, which is a supplier that meets all quality criteria to be allowed to deliver directly to the manufacturer (OEM).

Specifically, body-in-white and plastic parts painting were inspected by auditors from MAN Truck & Bus and Volkswagen in accordance with the strict VW regulations. This means that Steyr Automotive is listed as a potential VW Group supplier.

This approval is a further important confirmation of our competence as a contract manufacturer.
