Purchase agreement signed between M-U-T and Steyr Automotive

 

With the signing of the purchase agreement last Wednesday, Steyr Automotive’s intention to acquire the vehicle construction business of M-U-T Maschinen-Umwelttechnik-Transportanlagen, which was already announced at the end of March 2023, was contractually sealed.

 

The “M-U-T” brand will remain and will be transferred to Steyr Automotive. The transfer of body-building activities from M-U-T in Stockerau to Steyr and the start of production are scheduled for July.
